The holiday season is a time for giving, and what better way to spread joy and warmth than by participating in the 4th Annual Drive Thru Food & Toy Drive, hosted by The Community Project and Dearborn County Young Professionals? This heartwarming event is all set to make a difference in the lives of those in need while bringing the community closer together.
Date and Location: Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 10th, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, and head over to FCN Bank, 595 Eads Parkway, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The best part? It's a drive-thru event, making your contribution hassle-free and convenient.
Items to Donate: The event aims to collect a wide range of items to benefit the local community. Your generous donations can include:
New & Unwrapped Toys: These will be sent to SIEOC's Toys for Tots, serving the children of southeastern Indiana.
Warming Essentials: Gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and hand warmers to help those in need stay warm during the cold winter months. These items will be distributed to the Community Blessing Boxes.
Canned Goods & Non-Perishable Items: Your contributions will go a long way in supporting both the Clearinghouse and the Blessing Boxes, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.
Toiletries/Hygiene Items: Personal hygiene items donated will be used to fill the Blessing Boxes, providing essential necessities to those less fortunate.

The Power of Community: The Mobile Food & Toy Drive is not just an opportunity to give; it's a chance to come together as a community and make a meaningful impact. By participating in this event, you're not only sharing the holiday spirit but also helping to alleviate the challenges faced by many local families.
Remember, it's the little things that can make a big difference in someone's life. Your donation, no matter how small, can bring joy to a child's face and provide warmth and sustenance to those in need.
