 THE PROJECT

At The Community Project we believe we are better together.

There will always be opportunities to support those in need and we are committed to doing so, both with our time AND our resources. We have made bringing awareness to these needs our priority. This allows us to provide vital information to those who want to help.

The need is there and the spirit of volunteerism is alive. We are bringing them together, every day.

Volunteerism is said to improve health by strengthening the body, improving mood, and lessening stress in participants.

There are more than 1.8 million active nonprofits in the United States alone, so the ability to volunteer is endless.

WAYS WE HELP

Feeding those

in need

Every Thanksgiving Eve, meals are prepared and distributed to our community members who are food insecure. Our last event fed nearly 1400 men, women, and children. This amazing event's success is because of our amazing volunteers and their families who donate their time, funds, and desserts.

Homeless in Indiana

Community Blessing Boxes

This initiative provides easily accessible, weather-resistant boxes in high-traffic areas for our homeless population. These boxes are stocked with non-perishables and hygiene essentials that are donated by our community members. We are exploring opportunities to bring services to them.

Knitted Christmas Tree Ornaments

Christmas with Friends

No one should be alone on Christmas. Ever. This event brings those together who may not have anyone to keep them company during the holiday. Food, fellowship, and gifts of essential items help lift the spirits of our community members making them feel less isolated. Everyone deserves to feel merry and bright!
